Chemming Hu
Chemming Hu, father of the 3D Transistor due to his development of the Fin Field Effect (FinFet) Transistor. FinFet was a breakthrough in modern semiconductor design that allowed chip makers to pack more transistors into a microchip without losing power. Hu is the receipient of numerous awards including the IEEE Medal of honor in 2020.
