Crypto AG HX-63 Cipher Machine Rotor Bank
The HX-63 was an electromechanical rotor-based cipher machine, introduced in 1964 by Crypto AG in Zug (Switzerland). A set of nine special keys are used to set the initial position of each of the HX-63's nine rotors. Each of the rotors initial positions is an important component of the cryptographic key.
